JMag: Yui's Fashion Patrol ft. Preppy Sports Style

Am I back to blogging? I hope so!

I couldn't believe this is actually my first post for October. I've been so busy with school-related stuff that I barely had time for my hobbies. Oh well. A person must learn how to prioritize things after all. At least I somehow got through those sleepless nights writing term papers, studying for exams, and reading a bunch of e-books and journals. I felt so productive! Haha!

But I'll already be back in school in a few weeks so... I guess I shouldn't celebrate too much.

Anyway, so my first official post for October 2012 is my usual YFP fashion spread post. As always, I'll write my honest thoughts about the outfits and the overall look, and to start things off, I'd have to say this one is probably my least favorite among all that I have seen so far (and I've actually seen everything. Haha!).

I know that the theme is a mixture of preppy and sporty fashion, but I find this very difficult to appreciate in so many level. I'm okay with mixing loud colors especially since color blocking is on trend these days, but adding so many patterns all at the same time is quite challenging to the eyes. Haha! Pattern-on-pattern is usually treated as a fashion taboo, but with the right combination (depending on the pattern's size, color, etc.), it could actually work.
If this skirt is velvet, I'd flip!
The hairstyle is quite eyebrow-raising, too. The only saving grace for me are the pink knee-high socks and the white high-cut sneakers. And of course, Yui-chan's cuteness. But they're just not enough to make me love this spread.

However, what I'm going to post tomorrow surely made up for this catastrophe. Watch out for it!

A Bunny Travels in Pink: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia September 2012 (Part 1)

I'm still super busy right now with exams and final papers for school, so I still can't find time to write my usual beauty-related stuff. I have prepared a few of them already and hopefully, as soon as I finish my student duties, I'll get to post them all. For now, I'll just share with you some photos from my visit to Malaysia a couple of weeks ago.

I actually got to take more photos here than when I was in Singapore, thanks to the Hop-On Hop-Off Tour Bus me and my schoolmates took in order to maximize our time during this really short visit. But I'll just randomly choose the ones I'll include in this entry.

The photos below were taken around Bukit Bintang area.

A Bunny Travels in Pink: Singapore 2012

Here are some photos from my recent trip to Singapore:

I actually took a bunch of photos and most of them are from Marina Bay Sands. The view is simply breathtaking!

It was my first time to visit the country, and I certainly knew it wouldn't be the last! It is everything that a city should be - modern, clean, and tourist-friendly.

Back from Slackersville... hopefully!

Some of my "student-ly" duties are almost done, so I guess I can go back to my regular blogging days. I feel so bad that I didn't manage to squeeze a few posts every now and then these past few days (weeks, actually) because that meant that I already broke my personal promise to make this blog as updated as possible to make up for my "blogging failures" in the past. Hahaha!

So, yeah. I hope that by October, A Bunny Wears Pink will once again be the vain blog that it is. Haha!

Bored yet Busy?

I came back home last Sunday from my school trip to Vietnam, but I have to pack my bags once again for my trip to Malaysia and Singapore next week. Yey!

I have a lot of things to do for school because the end of the semester is finally coming, but I also have to attend to other "important things" as a member of society. Haha. Vague, I know. But hopefully I'll be able to talk more about it in the coming days.

As I will be a bit busy (yet still bored), I probably won't be able to write updates for this blog for now. I'm still working on my entry about my trip to Vietnam, and I'll try my very best to finish it as soon as possible. I have a lot of things I really want to share!

'til next time!~

I have landed in Hanoi, Vietnam!

It's 3 o'clock in the morning right here as I'm writing this quick post (That's 2AM Manila time!), and I'm still not feeling sleepy. Haha!

So, yeah. I have safely landed here in Hanoi together with my professor and classmates. Tomorrow, or should I say later, will be a long day for all of us as we take a tour of the city. As this is my first international trip ever, you can guess how psyched I am. That's probably why I can't sleep yet. I should be. I need all the energy!

The internet connection I have right now is not one of the best but I hope it would serve me well until we leave and go back home. Haaay...
